Family Night on May 21 2012 Two days before Brady come Home!

Bronson Loves To Take Care Of Warren.
Bronson only gets him if Hollie is not around.
When Hollie is around she is the only one Warren wants.
 Love that "SMILE"
Hollie is ready for the dance recital!  She is the tallest girl in her class, but oh how she shines!

Miriah is ready, but we could not find her headband.
I was not even sure I knew what it looked like.
But all she needed was her smile:)
Miriah after the dance recital, with her trophy.
It's the trophy that she has looked forward to all year.
Weston came after the recital to help us lay sod.
But he was enjoying the dirt a little more than his mom would of allowed if she had been here.
He is so funny, he wanted to ride the big bike, but then settled into just playing with the dirty pipe.
Britton and Bronson working hard in the yard.  We were trying to get the yard cleaned up before Brady got home in August, so we had a real mess when we found out he was coming home early to get better.
Howard and Lurae gave us 3 pallets of sod, the boys got it all down not no time.
Tegan and Miriah up on top of one of the pallets.

Work Hard... Play When?

My parents always said work hard, play hard, sleep fast.  But years ago I put on the wall in the bathroom,
Work hard, Play Hard and Trust God!!
One day the week before Mother's Day, we got a call from the Stake President who was on the phone with Brady's mission President.  They felt it was time for Brady to come home.  He was just not getting better.  Brady had been treated for a skin problem since 4 months into his mission.  I was a little in shock because, I have worried about him, but have had a feeling of comfort that when he came home everything would be alright.  I am sure I sounded like a pretty mean mom when I said, I didn't want him to come home, he will be alright.  Then the mission President reminded me that we need to do what was right for Brady.  I responded with he doesn't want to come home, he just needs some help.  Well I hung up form talking to them and they called Todd.  Todd told them that he wanted to talk to him first before they sent him home.  So with Mother's day just a few days away they agreed.
So for the next couple of days we worked hard...
We had started a couple of projects in the yard thinking we had till August to get things cleaned up, but that is not what the Lord had in mind for us.
Putting in sprinklers on the side of the house...
Grandma the "Miracle Worker in Yards" had the kids cleaning out the window wells...
We took out all the brick around the window wells and along the back of the house, and grandpa made grow boxes for us out of the left over fence.  They are so awesome!
Miriah was hardly working, sneaking grandma's drink...
Can we make this work...
I don't know, let me think....

Braxton will get it done, he is a hard worker...
Hollie wants to help...
It gets complicated...
Grandpa taking a break finally....
Hauling dirt in to fill in the holes...
