At the game on Tuesday night, we took a picture with Bronson since we are going to miss senior night.
Proud of him and all his hard work helping manage the basketball team and getting good grades and working. He is a great young man, who when he sets his mind to something, gets it done.

Dad and I have been given the opportunity to go to Hawaii. Here we are on the plane headed to Seattle, with a short layover then on to Hawaii.
It was a long flight, my leg are not used to sitting that long, and I wondered if I was going to be able to walk when the plane landed. It was stormy when we left Seattle, it was not the smoothest ride, and when we landed it felt like the plane was going to come apart. I was a little scared. Brody was at practice when we got there, so we stopped by the gym.
We checked into our little cottage then went to eat with Brody at the Hanammanes place. It was great, we all got something different and then shared. It was really great food.
Then Brody took us to a nearby beach. Waimea Beach
It was so Beautiful, we stayed there until the sun went down watching the waves and the different people that were playing and surfing in the water. It was impossible to walk in the sand with shoes on.
Here is the sunset.
Saturday we went early to eat at a place close to our cottage.
They serve rice with breakfast, we had a supreme omelet, it was awesome. Then we went to the beach, it was overcast and not to warm. Dad walked down the beach watching the surfers. It started to rain, and no sun since we got here. It wasn't cold but it wasn't warm. We left and came back to the beach by our cottage.
You can see the little cottage or garage on the side of the house. It was perfect for us with a perfect price. A bed, fridge, microwave, bathroom, beach chairs and towels and 30 feet from the Hukilau beach.
This beach was just down the beach from our little cottage.

Then we headed to Costco to get food for the week and then to Brody s game.
It was a rainy night in the morning there was a double rainbow before we headed to church.
Picking the boys up for church. D and Brody The Student Ward was amazing. It was great being with the youth in Hawaii. You hear about the great spirit on the campus, but we got to experience it. It was awesome.
After church dad got helping some students with their truck that would not start. They got it going, but couldn't keep it going.
We went to the Dole Pineapple plantation, ice cream was good.
Pineapples are grown on the ground, not in trees.
The sun broke through for a little while on our drive around the island.
Hollie at Youth Conference. She was so excited to get her picture taken with Alex Boye. She loved Youth conference even though she did not want to go.
She wanted to go to work, can you imagine that?
What they had for dinner the first night at youth conference.

One of the boys from our ward playing the piano.
In one of the pictures dad sent, he had his coat on when we landed in Hawaii.
At Youth Conference Hollie got to go to the Church History library and she seen the book on the new Provo Temple and its history.
They also went to the Family History Library, and she found out that there are 3 people in the United States that spell their name the same way she does. Hollieanne
