Miriah and I went shopping one day for school clothes. We went to Old Navy, and she found a couple of things to try on. We waited in line for a dressing room, it was finally our turn and we went in and tried on a couple of things. She decided on one pair of pants, we then went to stand in line to pay. Well, it was almost our turn when a lady came towards us. She was the one who when in the dressing room right after us and she found Miriah's envelope with all her money. We were so grateful that someone who was honest found it. Miriah had just started to look for it in her pocket when she came up to us. It was a blessing that we had not left the store and
that the lady was so kind to come looking for us.
It is $2.00 Tuesday's at Thanksgiving point for the month of August. So we went to the Butterfly Biosphere. It was fun to see the butterflies and to have them land on us. Here are a few pictures

Dad was helping ride a bike, we tended Kim's kids for a little while so he was trying out Abby's bike.

On Friday, we had a district celebration. I love the theme this year and it was a great meeting.
I went to go to a farewell on Sunday, I took this picture since I thought it so odd, not one car in the church parking lot at 10:30? Yes, of course, I was at the wrong church,
but you'd think there would be at least one car.

Tuesday, August 20, 2019 Back to School. Britton was in a hurry to go with his friends.
Miriah is so happy to be going back, she came home and said she was already all her teachers favorite. Cute top - Thanks to Kate for giving it to you.
So I canned some peaches yesterday and I had a few left over for eating.
They got baker this little chewy sucker thing and we but a slice of peach in it. He was pulling the funniest faces, and the peaches were so sweet.
Today, Sunday, August 25, Sam Stirland spoke in Church. He did a really good job. he talked about personal conversion, then Brother Bryce also talked. I am trying to get a copy of his talk for you, it was amazing. I also went to Landon Richards homecoming and them to Darrin Wilsons. Landon talked about the hard times in his personal conversion and when he wanted to leave the mission, he didn't want to come home but he wanted to be somewhere else and he would hear the Lord say in his mind "Do ye love me?" and he would think "Yay, Lord ye know that I love you, then he would go to work. I am sure I didn't write that like he said it, but he had to forget about himself, and that's when he was the happiest.
