On the morning of June 16, 2010, just after six in the morning the phone rang, It was Judy Owens (who is a family friend) called from the post office saying the mission call was here. Did we want to come get it or have them deliver it. Todd's prayers had been answered since he was leaving for Kansas City that morning around 8. He went and got it and was on his way with Hollie and Grandpa Berry. He called me about ten with all the arrangements, He was going to meet Heritage Tours in North Platte, Nebraska at noon tomorrow. He gave me a number so we could all call in and listen to Brady read the call.
About 1:00 my mom called and said that they were coming to get me and we were going to Nebraska, I said no it was to far 10.5 hours, we would never make it. But then she said we are not mission this. They actually did not come pick me up until about 5, I thought we were crazy to try to make it, we would have to drive all night. With Brody already in Kansas, and Braxton the Bronson at Timberline, it was just me, Miriah, and Britton so we piled into Grandpa and Grandmas car. Miriah was really good, but Britton either had to go to the bathroom or was hungry, every few minutes, it was a long ride for him.
We made it to North Platte at 4:30 am, Todd had got us a Hotel room so we slept for a little while.
