So I got to tend Baker on Friday, I took the day off to finish cooking the bread for the wedding and to tend him. It was super fun. His nose is runny and he wants to help with everything. He was rolling around the countertop and in the living room, he can really move. he can get up on his knees but doesn't know what to do once he gets up.
Britton left at 3:00 am for the trip to California. He didn't look very excited to be going , but maybe that was because I got him up a half-hour to early.
I made 20 loaves of bread for the wedding, Lori made 17 and we bought some from Village Baker.
We started to set up on Friday night and did as much as we could, we all went home about 10:00 and came back on Saturday morning at 7:30, I texted the boys since I knew we needed help. Brady came right over and got all the chairs around the tables.
About 9:00 am, I sent dad and the boys to get the ice cream machine.
After we had the ice cream machine all set up, we all headed home to get ready for the luncheon.
Everyone was invited to the luncheon, but Miriah had a game so dad and Miriah didn't come.
Miriah's first football game. It was at Orem High.
Baker got his hair all done, and it's so cute.
Baker getting ready in the parking garage.
He is so beautiful. and smiles all the time. He loves Bronson.
and Uncle Scotty.
The luncheon was different. All the food was healthy food.
The luncheon was at 1:00 and went for 2.5 hours. Afterward, mom and I went to Sams club to get the butter and then head back to the temple. We were supposed to be in our seats at 4:30. I had forgotten my recommend, so I had to wait for dad to come with it and he got to the temple at 4:45 so we were the last ones in the room. Only the aunts and uncles were invited to the temple so that made 14 from Shawntaes family while 35 were from his family. The sealing was nice. As soon as we finished with the family picture we headed back to Gibson's where the boys and Crystal had been working since the luncheon. They had it looking so beautiful! I don't have a picture of the table, but everything was very elegant and special. Well, you know Aunt Lori, she is a decorated.
Most of the people came to the begining and stayed till the end.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
The Cooking Guys.
As much as we complained about the grilled cheese it was a hit with everyone.
Grandma putting out more Bread and cheese for the sandwiches.
The guest got to pick the kind of bread and cheese they wanted on their sandwiches.
Everyone was helping in some form or another.
Crystal buttered all the bread and gave it to the boys to cook.
The Dream Team.
Brady mixing more ice cream, he kept everything good while the others cooked all night.
Grandpa was helping with all the slicing of the bread and getting the cheese out.
Brady making more ice cream.
Kortnie watched over the ice cream table.
When Bronson finished cooking the Grilled Cheese sandwiches, he went right to work cleaning and clearing all the tables. It was a fun night to have him stick around and help.
Cyrstal stayed and helped to the end too.
The cleanup crew, well the everything crew. We should go into the catering business.
Your brothers are amazing. Braxton made his trip to Thailand.
He hopes to come home in a couple of weeks
Grandpa Parrish said, not every wedding gets a Jazz Dancer waiting tables.
The boys getting all the chairs ready to return. Such hard workers. So grateful for them, Aunt Lori would not have made it without them.
Brady walked 14.21 miles helping with the wedding, I
only got 8.5 miles, so you can tell who did a lot of work.
Britton had a great play, so he made the highlight video.
Britton hid from me coming off the plane. I barely got him on the video since he didn't acknowledge me like all the other boys were.
Another picture that he was in.
Grandma Berry turned 88 yesterday. September 2, 2019 She was so happy. We took Costa Vida and had dinner with them. Jade and Cam brought Remi and Ruger down for us to tend and that made grandma very happy. They are such darling children. Bronson, Brady, and Crystal went with us. Brody and Sadie had Oakleys Birthday.
Britton was at Football and Miriah had gone with friends to Tiblefork.
Remi likes to tease grandma
Birthday pictures and look at grandma Smile.
Grandpa will be 89 on the 18th. He was telling us stories again,
He has been retired longer than he worked.
We took a ride on Sunday up the canyon. It was so beautiful. Brady took the first picture, I took the second, had the phone focus on the mountains so I lost the blue sky.
This was a picture from one of the days I stopped at the house and grandpa can hardly walk but yet he had stopped to get grandma a drink. He's always trying to do nice things for her.
I was thinking about this quote to put on my wall at school.
I think Sadie sent this one to you, but I wanted to add it again since it's so cute.
The football moms who are doing the dinners this year before each game.
It was fun to be apart of it all. I am grateful Bif asked me to help her.
Spiritual gifts are endless in number and infinite in variety. Those listed in the revealed word are simply illustrations of the boundless outpouring of divine grace that a gracious God gives those who love and serve him.”

“Taken at Random, let me mention a few gifts that are not always evident or noteworthy but that are very important. . .
The gift of asking; the gift of listening the gift of hearing and using a still, small voice; the gift of being able to weep; the gift of avoiding contention; the gift of being agreeable; the gift of avoiding vain repetition; the gift of seeking that which is righteous; the gift of not passing judgment; the gift of looking to God for guidance; the gift of being a disciple; the gift of caring for others; the gift of being able to ponder; the gift of offering prayer; the gift of bearing a mighty testimony; and the gift of receiving the Holy Ghost.
Marvin J. Ashton
I know you have so many of these gifts. Your mission president's wife just called to tell us that you were still flying out tomorrow. In the conversation, we find out they are from Lehi originally and they are Bart and Nan Brockbank Aunt and Uncle. He is Nan's mom Nancy's Brother. I don't know if you remember when the Groll's lived across the street from us in Yvonne's house, Yvonne moved in when they moved out. And the other Aunt Paula works in the office, Aunt Leslie knows her.
I know you are going to have a great time with them and in the great South Carolina Columbia Mission. We love you and are so proud of you. God speed was one of the comments in the lesson and I like it. He is with you always.
