Dad's trip, Braxton Mission, Dad and the Bishopric.

It was an other busy week, we have one week till school starts.  We haven't done to much to get ready yet, all I do is work.  Miriah got to tend the neighbors dog this week.  Made us all really miss Zoie, except for dad.  Their little dog is even littler than Zoie was, and Miriah is the best baby sister, she even gave him a bath before they came home.  She is excited to go back to school to be with friends.
Dad got home from his trip to Minnesota, where they went to learn how to run the new mill equipment.

So dad got to be a missionary this week too.  He got asked after one of his meetings, "If now that you are out of Utah, can you have a drink?"  He had three glass of water, while they had their Beer.

He said that they feed them well.

Hollie is going more and more to hang out with friends.  When of course she is not working.

Bronson just stays home and studies, and taxies the kids around while I am at work. Crystal had a big show this weekend, she did a really great job.
Crystal modeling for a dress company.

It was also Alpine days and dad went to the rodeo with the three kids, I am not looking forward to the next couple of weeks, school will be start and the pool is still open until after labor day.  Last week the challenge to the kids was to have them recognize the spiritual influences they were having each day.  Hopefully they have slowed down enough to know they are feeling the spirit when they are doing good, since a lot of good things are happening.  Braxton we love your letters, keep working hard and know we love you.

A few picture that we found of Braxton on the Mission Facebook page.
He is looking great.

We went to Salt Lake to the Church History Library with Sister Rasmussen, to see if we could found any history of the ward and stake.  It takes a lot longer than we had expected to find something.  She did find some dates for her dad's history.  We had lunch in the Joseph Smith building.

Picture Hollie took of the temple.
When we went into have lunch we ran into Morgan, Cole's new daughter, she had been doing baptisms for the dead with her cousins at the Salt Lake Temple

After lunch we went to see the new Meet the Mormon movies.  We only got to see one, it was good.
Cole and Parker did a great job yesterday reporting on their missions.
This is the picture we got with Cole at Zain's wedding.  Feel bad we didn't get one of Seth and Landon when we seen them.
You can't see this very well, but we lost two branches off the peach tree, and they were loaded with peaches.  All the other branches are loaded too.  Bronson went out and tied up the Branches so we did lose the whole tree.
The Bishopric the Sunday they released Brother Krout.
