The week started off with the 24th of July celebration. Brady got us all excited about doing the temple to temple run, it was the 4th Annual, 2016 Temple to Temple 5K. Registration closed at 13,001 people. There were so many people there.
This was at the beginning of the race. We didn't have Bronson and Miriah since they had already started the race. Bronson wanted to get a good time, so he took off and and never stopped. Miriah did finally wait for us. It was a good experience and fun to be together.
Miriah had fun running and jumping over the cones.
Bronson waiting for us at the end of the race, since he had been done for a while.
We made it, if you look close you can see dad crossing the finish line.
Dad and Miriah finishing!
Brady finishing
In front of the Provo City temple. The finish line.
Bronson and Hollie ran most of it and finished with good times. Bronson not happy that I made him stand for another picture.
Riding the bus back to the Provo Temple to get our cars.
We went to Seven Peaks after the race for a few hours.
Everyone was pretty bored and hungry
The girls were enjoying their time in the sun, and Miriah was off doing her own thing, riding all the slides, She is one Brave girl.
Second baby quilt done. Turned out so cute.
And the quilt Miriah picked out, turned out really cute as well. She was so happy with it.
The quilt Hollie is making, is turning out so cute too. She just has to figure out what she is going to put on the back.
Projects that dad is working on at the Mill.
All the big kids went to a concert on Friday night, leaving dad and I and Miriah home. Traffic was bad going in to Salt Lake.
We had a big BERRY Family Reunion on Saturday. It was fun to see people we have not seen in so long. Grandpa and Grandma were so happy that so many came. Grandpa telling stories about his Brothers and Sisters.
Grandpa and Trev.
Collette and Grandma
Grandpa and Aunt Joann, they are the last of the siblings.
Aunt Marna, Aunt Joann, Grandpa and Grandma and Jade's baby.
Two of your dad's cousins Clint Allen from Colorado and Reese Blackhurst.
Don, Sheri and Collettet. Sheri is the one who got the whole reunion together. She lives in Arizona.
Some of the first cousins. Some had already left.
Miriah was such good help, she set up to play games in the primary room with all the little kids.
She can do it even holding Knox
Railey, Trev's little girl helped her play one of the games. They played till all the treat were gone.
It was fun and a good reunion to hear all the stories.
Yesterday in Church the talks were all based on the question "How can I deepen my understand of Covenants? It was stated that when we better understand the covenants we have made them we will be able to honor them and receive the blessings from our Heavenly Father. The whole meeting was really good. A sister missionary that is leaving spoke and then a new family spoke. They did a really great job. Another thing that was pointed out was when we get to the point of wanting to be at church rather than having to be there because we are suppose to be there. I hope that all of you will develop that kind of faith and commitment to your covenants, that you will want to be in church, doing what you are suppose to be doing because you want too, not because you have too.
It was a great week, Hope you all had a great week only three weeks from school starting and we got lots to do. Love you all.
