Wisdom Teeth, Jesse's Baptism, Sadie's Shower, Miriah's Choir and Talk

The week start off with a bang and Bronson getting his wisdom teeth out.  He has been in a lot of pain, and has not felt good all week.  But we think he is on the mend now.

Look who came back to Lone Peak for Homecoming?  Matt Bell
Matt is getting excited for Braxton to come home, the students really miss him.
Jesse got baptized.  What a special day for him.  There were a lot of people there.
Pres and Sister Laycock spoke at his baptism and said some really good things for Jesse to remember.  Pres. Laycock talked about the four gardens and the impact they have had on our lives and will continue to bless our lives and his.  The first garden was the Garden of Eden, the the Garden of Gethsemane, the Garden of the Empty Tomb, and then the Garden of the Alpine Singles Ward, everyone laughed it was so cute, but there will be strength for him there is he will come and be a part of it.  He had lots of support there on Saturday.  His Best friend Kirk who is serving in Montana on mission, actually got to help teach him and be on skype from his mission.  But Mitchell Squires is the one who actually got him reading the book of Mormon before he left.
Two of the missionaries that help teach him.
Jesse told me that he has already been having dreams of serving a mission.
What a special young man.
Getting the food ready for Sadie's Shower
Crystal planned for a breakfast bar, so we made the breakfast braid.

and the Raspberry Cream Cheese braid
Crystal really made the shower nice.  She did cute decorations and a cute favor that I didn't get a picture of, but it was a bottle of soap and the little tag said,"From Sadie's shower to your's"  It was really cute.  She shower decorations were kind of like Christmas decorations, made my house cheery for a little bit, it was sad when she started to take everything down.
Crystal played a game where she had asked Brody question and Sadie had to give the answer Brody did or she had to put a marshmallow in her mouth.  You can tell from her cheeks that she didn't get them all right.  It was fun.

Sadie got some really nice gifts from everyone in the family.

 Looking at her ring.
After the shower was all over.
Hollie leaving on her day date.  It was so funny, Brady answered the door and tried to talk in a really deep voice, and then when they left he was watching out the window to see if he was going to open the door for her.  It was a good thing he did, not sure what Brady would of done.
Britton had a soccer and football game against AF and this is how the updates from dad went.
Britton touchdown. 7-0
Britton goes for the interception.  Off his fingertips, AF makes big gain.
Britton misses tackle. Gets butt chewing from coach. AF scores 7-6
LP fumbles, AF ball
Britton slants on extra point, LP 14 AF 6
Britton 25 yard touchdown pass.
After LP fumbles on the 5 year line. Britton blitz forces AF to fumble.
Jonah throws up a pass to L. who drops it under pressure.
If it was to Britton it would have been for 6, I'm just say'n

Britton after the game.
This happy girl tried out for the American Heritage Childrens Choir and made it.  This weekend she got to sing in the Salt Lake Tabernacle with Paul Cardon, Nathan Pacheco and the Americdan Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic Orchestra.  It was the most amazing program. Miriha and the childrens choir got to sing, Because I have Been Given Much, One By One, and I believe in Christ.  It was absolute the most beautiful music I have ever heard.  Brought tears, I was so grateful this sweet little sister was getting the chance to be a part of it, to feel the spirit that was there will be unforgettable.  I hope she will always remember singing in the Tabernacle and the songs they sang.

Miriah outside the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
Us after the performance was over,  we were so sad it had to come to an end.  Miriah wanted ice cream and she tried so hard to stay awake so she could have some.  We finally got to JCW's and got her a shake and fries, but she was still so tired, she was not able to eat it.
After the day date, Hollie came home to get ready.  Good thing we have Crystal and Sadie because they got her all dressed up. Crystal did her make up and Sadie did her hair.  She has grown up and is a Beautiful young lady.  She didn't really like her dress, but several of the girls wanted to know where she got it, since they loved it.
She also had to borrow Crystal's shoes.

Her First Homecoming date - Dawson Fernstrom.

These four at an other concert.
Grandpa Berry's 86 Birthday  - Jade and Cam blessed their sweet little Remi today so we celebrated at their home.  Lunch was great and the company even better. Cam did a beautiful job giving Remi a name and a blessing. It is always fun to be with the Peck families.
Happy Birthday Grandpa.  We love you.

Miriah was asked on Friday to fill in and give a talk in primary today for someone who was going to be gone, she did such a great job.  We used Braxton's letter from two weeks ago, and then we added some of the talk I heard yesterday at Jesse's baptism.  I am so glad when things go together.  After church Miriah gets in the car and says, mom my talk went with everything today, her class lesson and sharing time.  The primary lady doing sharing time kept referring to her talk and even had her repeat some of it.  She was so happy, here is her talk...
I have a Brother who is on a mission in Reynosa Mexico and he sent this story -  Yesterday we got to travel down to San Fernando. It’s the most southern city in the mission. It’s actually like the only city that is not on the border. American missionaries haven’t been able to serve there for a long time because there was a time that it was super dangerous. So when we got there, all the members were so surprised because it had been a long time since they had seen American missionaries! Anyways, in the second hour, in the class of the principles of the gospel, there were like a couple investigators and new members and us. The teacher started out and then all of a sudden somebody came in and took him out so i volunteered to give the rest of the class and my companions helped me out. After the class we just let them ask questions and we responded and there was one lady that stayed after with her husband to talk with us because she had a couple of doubts. Her husband was baptized on Saturday and she was actually interviewed and ready to get baptized but at the last moment changed her mind. So we were able to talk with her and we helped her recognize the spirit and she decided to get baptized following the church services. It was an awesome baptism because all the members stayed to support! She asked that I baptized her and I wasn’t expecting to baptize so I didn’t have any cloths but they were able to find a white overall for me. It was super awesome!!   In John 14:26 it says "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to you're remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."  I know the Holy Ghost has helped my brother on his mission by comforting him and teaching him and bringing all things back to his remembrance, when he has need it.  I know the Holy Ghost can do the same for us, so Remember CTR - The Comforter, will Teach and Bring all things Remembrance, as we all can share the gospel.  Then she bore her testimony.
Britton was ordained a teacher today.  He is such a happy Young man.  I hope he keeps smiling and enjoying life.  Do your Homework Britton!!!! Everything else comes easy for you.

Another picture of Chaz's elk that he got with his bow,
he might be setting the state record for the biggest elk with a bow.
