“I want to be as steady as that star,”

Happy Valentines yesterday,  Hope it was a good day.  Last week was about the same as the week before.  I didn't take many pictures this week.  Yesterday we went to Mitchell's farewell.  He did a great job.  It is always fun to go back to the Highland 10th ward to see all those wonderful people who we miss so much.  I was able to help take dinner to Sister Owen's this week.  They found another brain tumor on the other side of her brain, when taking it out it has taken away her short term memory.  She still looks really good though.  Sister Gibson looks amazing, she was at church and you would never know she has cancer.  Miracles, Miracles, Miracles, oh how Heavenly Father has blesses them and all of us around them.  The Gibson girls played and it was amazing, they are all so very talented.  Their music left most people in the chapel with teary eyes.  Music is very powerful and they share their testimony's through music and it was amazing.  Brother and Sister Young spoke in Sacrament meeting about the power of music.  Brother young talked about how the Hymns are scripture and bore a powerful testimony of the words in the hymn book.  Sister Young spoke of how children can learn the Plan of Salvation from singing the primary songs.  We need to sing more and use that powerful tool to help us in our daily lives.  Miriah is learning to play the hymns and is so excited about it.  She has made the assignments for family night and she is doing the music since she can play I know my Redeemer lives.

Braxton we hope you reach your goal of 10 baptism in one day.  That would be so awesome.  Keep following the spirit and listen with your heart.  Love you all so much, and so very proud of you for all that you are accomplishing in your lives.

Brady and Crystal have been married for a whole month, we have hardly seen them.  They are so busy with school and work.

 Britton had three games this week, lost two and won the last one.  He did make this shot, in the last game on Saturday, he had a great game, he maybe made half the points the team had.

 Brody is still enjoying Hawaii.  They have three games left and it doesn't look like they will be going to the tournament so he will be home the first week in March needing a job.

Do not pray for easy lives, 

Pray to be stronger men.

Do not pray for the tasks

Equal to your powers.

Pray for powers equal to your tasks.

Then the doing of your work

shall be no miracle, but

you shall be the miracle.
